Magrit is a brand looking back on one of the longest histories in the Spanish footwear industry. The company has been around for over 75 years. Registered in the city of Elda in the Alicante region, the company is owned by the Amat family. Magrit produces approximately 180,000 to 200,000 pairs of shoes per year.
The Magrit brand is positioned in the upper segment of the market and targets women aged 30 to 60 focused primarily on quality.
A large proportion of production goes to international markets. Distribution is based on a very active network of commercial agents and participation at international trade fairs. Accounting for 60% of total exports, EU countries are its principal customers. The remaining 40% of exports go to various Asian nations, Australia and the United States.
